What is a Plant-Based Diet?

A plant-based diet is focused on eating more plant-based proteins, unprocessed and unrefined foods while limiting (or excluding) the intake of animal-based products. This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, and beans.
